One man killed, another injured in Little Village shooting, police say

One man was killed and another injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in Little Village, according to Chicago police.

Officers found the victims in the 3000 block of South Trumbull Avenue at about 3:50 a.m., after responding to a call of a person shot.

An unidentified man was shot in the head and abdomen, police said. He was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A 22-year-old man was shot in the right leg and was taken to Mt. Sinai in good condition, police said.

No suspects are in custody and police said they’re investigating the shooting.
