Chicago police and firefighters responded to a vehicle fire in an alley and discovered someone in the trunk overnight who was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
Shortly after 2 a.m. Friday, officials were called to an alley in the 3700 block of South Parnell Avenue where firefighters extinguish the fire and found an unidentified victim in the trunk, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives were investigating.
