FORT MYERS, Fla. — A wanted man’s game of hide and seek landed him in jail after Fort Myers police found him hiding on the roof of a home they had been searching Thursday afternoon.
ABC7 was at the scene on Cox Street where police had their guns drawn and were surrounding a home while searching for a suspect, Curtis Buchanon.
Police initially came up empty-handed after searching the home for over an hour. However, as they were leaving they heard Buchanon hiding on the roof and were able to get him down with a ladder.
Buchanon was taken to the Lee County Jail. A juvenile was also brought out of the home in handcuffs.
Count on ABC7 to provide updates as more information is released.
