Thursday, Sept. 26

Stretch & Strength class: 5 to 6:15 p.m., Ramona United Methodist Church, 3394 Chapel Lane. Led by Jill Bacorn. Class is free and open to all ages.

Friday, Sept. 27

Yoga class: Mindful Movement with breath led by Hank Newman, 8:30-10 a.m., Ramona Julian Academy of Dance, 1530 Main St. Class is free but space is limited. Inquiries and reservations to [email protected].

Free Groceries: 9 a.m., Ramona Food & Clothes Closet parking lot, 773 Main St. Open to 18 years or older, first come, first served, 20 to 25 pounds of fresh produce and staples per family. Celebrate Recovery meeting: 7 p.m., Calvary Chapel Ramona, 114 14th St. The 12-step program is based on Biblical principles. 858-842-0493.

Saturday, Sept. 28

Kiwanis Club of Ramona: 7 to 8:15 a.m., Denny’s restaurant, 1946 Main St. Breakfast meeting with guest speaker. Guests are welcome. Free breakfast for prospective members. 760-533-4884.

AlAnon Serenity Saturday: 8:15 to 9:30 a.m., 1010 Montecito Road. AlAnon is a support group for family and friends of alcoholics/addicts. 760-550-7117.

Ukulele jam sessions: 10 a.m. to noon, Ramona Community Library, 1275 Main St. The library is providing free ukulele jam sessions in the Community Room starting Sept. 14. The group will meet every Saturday through the end of the year. Ukuleles will be provided free to borrow during class, as well as music. All levels of experience and ages are welcome. Double Feature Movie Night: Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and show starts at 6 p.m. The movies are “Dick Tracy” and “The Rocketeer.” Adults $10, under 12 years $5. Popcorn, candy and drinks available. Okay to bring low chairs, cushion or floor blanket. Ramona Town Hall, 729 Main St.

Sunday, Sept. 29

Car Show: 4 to 6 p.m. spring and summer, Albertsons parking lot, 1400 block of Main St. Free. Owners of all types of cars and trucks are invited to display their vehicles. 760-789-3396.

Monday, Sept. 30

Ramona Community Singers: 7 to 8:30 p.m., Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 1735 Main St. A community chorus made up of volunteer members open to all who like group singing – no auditions needed. Our repertoire includes pop songs, show tunes, folk and world music. $50 per semester music fee. 760-755-3243.
