Saya Gray, the Japanese-Canadian artist who released the EP Qwerty earlier this year, is back with a new single. “Annie, Pick a Flower.. (My House)” comes with a visualizer directed by Jennifer Chung, and a pair of B-sides are available too: “?” and “T. T. F. G.” Check them all out below.
“‘Annie, Pick a Flower.. (My House)’ was created during a period when I had severe pneumonia, unable to leave my home for weeks,” Gray said in a statement. “These tracks sonically convey my relationship to technology and the unwanted entrainment, overwhelm and emptiness from lack of substance in relationship, art, and thought stemming from technological advancements.”
