Sharon Osbourne has opened up about her husband Ozzy’s declining health, saying he’s no longer “self-sufficient” and relies on constant help.

“For nearly five years my husband’s been really sick,” Sharon, 71, told the Daily Mail. “Relationships change all the time, as we change.”

“We’re at a stage where I’ve been taking care of my husband, not because I have to but because I want to and I love him.”

“He’s had seven operations in five years,” she went on. “There’s nothing more they can do. Now it’s about recuperating.”

“He was on huge amounts of blood thinners so you have to be careful because if you fall again you could bleed out. It’s like he’s a piece of china and you’ve got to put cotton wool around him.”

Sharon said the toughest thing has been seeing Ozzy succumb to his declining health, as he now relies on the help of a cane and a wheelchair to get around.

“It’s just been heartbreaking for me to see my husband in a position where he’s not self-sufficient, he needs help. He was so vibrant, with such a zest for life. But you learn to adapt,” she said.

“I will always be there for my husband. I adore him. I owe him so much. He gave me the best things in my life, my kids.”

The Black Sabbath frontman, 74, was pictured being pushed in a wheelchair last week as his health woes continued to take a toll on him.

Last June, the “War Pigs” rocker underwent “life-altering” surgery to remove and realign pins in his neck and back from a 2003 quad biking accident that was exacerbated by a 2019 fall.

Ozzy has undergone three operations, stem cell treatments, physical therapy, and Hybrid Assistive Limb treatment.

Sharon described the surgery as “a major operation” that would “determine the rest of his life.”

He described that living with Parkinson’s felt like he was “walking around in lead boots.

In September, the Brit said he’s not looking to go under the knife anymore.

“I will always be there for my husband. I adore him. I owe him so much. He gave me the best things in my life, my kids,” Sharon, 71, said.

“I can’t believe I’ve come to the end of it,” he told Piers Morgan on Talk TV. “It’s been five years of absolute hell for me and the family.”

“It is going to be the final surgery because I can’t do it anymore,” he said in an episode of “The Osbournes Podcast” recorded a day before his latest procedure.

“Regardless of how it ends up, after tomorrow, that’s it. I’m not doing anymore. I can’t.”
