LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Some scheduled events in Southwest Florida have been canceled over the weekend due to inclement weather.

City of Palms River Run

According to the City of Fort Myers, the City of Palms River Run has been postponed.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 16, the event will now take place Saturday, Dec. 23.

The city states all registrants are receiving a notification by email.

Classic Car Fest in Cape Coral

The City of Cape Coral Museum of History has canceled it’s Classic Car Fest at Cultural Park event.

The monthly event will begin again Jan. 20, 2024.

Cape Coral Boat-A-Long

Due to inclement weather, the annual Cape Coral Holiday Boat-A-Long scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 16, has been canceled.

The City of Cape Coral hosts its Holiday Boat-A-Long and Christmas movie event every year.

The event for 2023 has not been rescheduled.
