Chicago police are investigating at least four armed robberies that occurred within 40 minutes of each other on the North Side Sunday night.

Police said detectives haven’t yet established a pattern or connection between the robberies, all of which involved three to four men and a white SUV. No suspects are in custody, and police said they are investigating.

The first robbery happened at about 11 p.m. in Lincoln Park. Four men exited a white SUV and took a 42-year-old woman’s purse at gunpoint when she was walking on the sidewalk in the 900 block of West Armitage Avenue, according to police. Police said the woman wasn’t injured.

About 15 minutes later, three men got out of a white SUV and stole a 31-year-old man’s cellphone and wallet at gunpoint. The victim, who police said wasn’t injured, was walking on the sidewalk in the 1700 block of West Hubbard Street in West Town.

Four men then exited a white SUV and took phones and wallets from a 56-year-old man and 60-year-old woman at gunpoint at about 11:20 p.m. in Lincoln Park, police said. Police said the victims were walking on the sidewalk in the 600 block of West Armitage Avenue, and that they weren’t injured.

At 11:40 p.m., police said four men got out of a white SUV and took a 27-year-old woman’s purse at gunpoint while she was walking on the sidewalk in the 1400 block of North Halsted Street in River North. Police said she wasn’t injured.
