It was a toasty day yesterday across SWFL. We actually broke a record in Punta Gorda, hitting 88°!
It’s going to be another warm one today. We’ll see some patchy through the morning, but it will be lifting out slowly after the sun comes up.
With partly cloudy skies, the temperatures will climb quickly as we head through the morning and into the afternoon, reaching highs in the middle 80s once again. While it will be a bit muggier, little rain is expected today. A few sprinkles or a shower or two can’t be ruled out.
A cold front will move across SWFL by late day into Monday. Rain chances will stay low, though a few showers will be possible tomorrow.
This front will help to usher in a fresh shot of chilly air by the middle of next week.
Enjoy the end of the weekend!
