A portion of 176 Street in Cloverdale has been closed to southbound traffic after a pedestrian was hit Friday morning.

The Surrey RCMP says the road is shut down at 64 Avenue. It’s unclear how long the closure will be in place.

Mounties could not say how bad the person’s injuries are, though investigators are set to provide more details later in the day.

You can take 184 Street or 168 Street as alternate routes.
