Brian Polen, the co-owner of New York sake brewery Brooklyn Kura, is headed to Tsubaki on Thursday, June 6 to serve pours alongside a special menu from chef de cuisine Klementine Song. In addition to the usual dinner menu, Tsubaki will also be serving miso cream cheese with Ritz crackers and everything bagel seasoning, pizza toast on milk bread with maitake mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers, and more. Andrew Ponce is bringing his pop-up, Atí, to All Day Baby for eight nights through May and June starting May 30. On the menu, look forward to a tuna tostada, a crispy short rib taco, and crispy duck mole. The run ends on June 21. For a chilaquiles craving, head to the corner of Vermont and 6th Street in Koreatown where Don Chilaquiles sets up from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day except for Monday. Chef Debbie Lee’s Korean fried chicken restaurant, Yi Cha, is popping up at the former Bar Moruno space in Silver Lake on Friday nights in advance of its opening in its permanent Highland Park spot this summer.
