On September 13 and 14, Nawal will be serving Syrian comfort dishes including falafel, fatteh, and soujouk crisp. Coffee consultant and barista coach Jaymie Lao will be behind the espresso machine at a Darling Kiosk from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 14. Long Beach’s Panxa Cocina is hosting its annual hatch chile festival on September 14. Look forward to hatch chile fare including hatch chile queso and Oaxaca stuffed hatch chiles, plus a hatch chile pizza from Speak Cheezy. Walking Spanish, a modern Central American pop-up has begun a Sunday and Monday residency at Las Perlas in West Hollywood.
