The Seacrest Foundation held its 211 Club Patron Recognition Party on Aug. 27.
Patrons of The 211 Club are “visionaries of Jewish eldercare.” Their individual contributions of $1,000 or more annually help to ensure quality of life for the frail and elderly. More than 150 contributors attended the event. Support from this group is directed to Seacrest Village Retirement Communities and Seacrest at Home.
The evening event was at the Solana Beach home of Mayo and Jeffrey Strauss. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served on a patio that offered a 180-degree view of the Pacific Ocean.
This was the first Patron Recognition Party Seacrest Foundation held since 2019 due to the pandemic.
Jeffrey Strauss, owner and executive chef of Pamplemousse Grille in Solana Beach, catered the food and beverages. A selection of hors d’oeuvres, including portobello sliders with truffle cheese and ahi tartare with wasabi caviar, led into a dinner of marinated skirt steak and miso black cod, finishing with a dessert buffet.
