This Saturday, Dec. 2, the 7th Annual Porsche & Friends Parade will bring Santa Claus and holiday cheer to pediatric patients at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
Participants in Porsches and other classic cars will gather at Glory Days Grill in Fort Myers before heading toward Golisano Children’s Hospital.
Upon arrival, members of the Iona McGregor Fire District and Lee County Sheriff’s Office SWAT teams, dressed as elves, will rappel from the hospital roof, tapping on patients’ windows to let children and teens know the spectacle is starting.
In addition to the parade, a live auction will raise critically needed funds to help build the new Golisano Pediatric Surgery Center, which will expedite surgeries and expand outpatient services.
The Porsche Parade is organized by the Everglades Region of the Porsche Club of America and held in partnership with the Gulf Harbor Porsche Owners Group, Porsche Fort Myers, Terra Nostra Italian Ristorante, and Iona McGregor Fire District.
