This Morning’s Alison Hammond discussed ‘failing’ in emotional Instagram post as she broke her silence over NTAs loss.
The TV star, 48, was nominated for the Best Presenter award and went up against Ant McPartlin and presenting partner Declan Donnelly – who won the award for the 22nd time in a row.
Meanwhile, This Morning was booed as the show lost out on its daytime award for the first time in over a decade.
Sharing a photo from the big night, Alison penned: ‘What a night of happiness at the @officialntas with @thismorning, we had the best time.
‘Thanks so much for all your love support and votes and allowing us to be there. I’ll be honest it was so nice watching the whole show with @joeldommett in our seats.’

This Morning missed out on the Daytime gong for the first time in 13 years after being faced by Loose Women, The Chase, and The Repair Shop, which took the award.
The Repair Shop star Jay Blades gave the winner’s speech on Tuesday night before he went to hug other celebs and fellow nominees in the audience.
National Television Awards fans have spotted the toe-curling moment Holly Willoughby appeared to jump in front of Alison to hug Jay.
The presenter, 42, who was without her longtime presenter partner Phillip Schofield for the first time, rushed to embrace the star after The Repair Shop brought an end to This Morning’s 13-year winning streak to scoop the Best Daytime prize.
Footage of the exchange surfaced on X, formerly known as Twitter , and one fan later posted: ‘#NTAs repair shop went to hug Alison but Holly had to jump in first. Always jumping the queue.’
A second said: ‘Go the Repair Shop well deserved. So humble and you didnt need to skip a queue or fall out with each other.’

Viewers saw Jay hug the presenting duo as he took to the stage to accept the Daytime Award.
This Morning wasn’t immune from the outspoken audience during the ceremony, and was booed as presenters Roman Kemp and Jermaine Jenas introduced their nomination.
It comes as the ITV morning programme continues to face backlash amid the furore of the Phillip Schofield affair and lost out to BBC ‘s The Repair Shop .
Host Jay Blades encouraged the crowd to cheer as the show’s team took to the stage at The O2 and took a picture of the moment as he noted it was a ‘rarity’ for them to be winning the prize.
Blades thanked those who voted and the team behind the show, adding: ‘I would like to salute my experts, they are my family.’
He also praised his fellow nominees at This Morning, The Chase and Loose Women , saying: ‘We’re the new kids on the block ad I’m glad we’ve won this time.
‘I know it won’t be a regular thing so thank you.’

The pair claimed the award ahead of the much fancied Hammond, notably selected ahead of her This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby in the category for Best Presenter.
Ant and Dec – who were also competing with Martin Lewis , Claudia Winkleman and Bradley Walsh for Best Presenter – admitted they were ‘more nervous than ever’ before going into the event on Tuesday evening, but were just as ‘humbled and grateful’ to receive the honour as they had ever been.
Ant said: ‘Thank you so much to the NTAs we’ve got quite a long list of thank yous, all of the shows and the people we work with, we are the luckiest two men on telly because we’ve got the best production teams and the best people to work with, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.’
