‘Sick Girl,’ the first movie directed by Northeast Philly-native Jennifer Cram, debuts Friday, Oct. 20 in theaters and on Apple TV and Prime Video. It stars Nina Dobrev as a woman who lies about having cancer in an attempt to reconnect with old friends. Cram, who wrote the script, based it on her own experiences. As she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a movie career, she noticed changes to her long-standing friendships.
