A TikTok video of a woman yelling at employees inside a Fresno McDonald’s went viral last week. Now, she’s been sacked from her job at a Fresno dentist’s office.

The video, captioned “Karen in Fresno’s McDonald’s,” was posted Aug. 17 and has been viewed 2 million times as of Friday. In it, a customer named Luis Aceves intervenes and stands up for the employees after the woman reportedly entered the restaurant yelling at them about a soda.

Aceves, in the video, says, “Don’t come in here and try to degrade people.” The woman, in response, says, “F—k you, you f—king Mexican!” to Aceves before exiting the restaurant. Diners inside the McDonald’s start jeering, while the individual who recorded the video can be heard exclaiming in shock.

The woman has reportedly been fired from her job, according to KGPE-TV in Fresno.

Employees later told Aceves the woman had started swearing at them at the drive-thru window, according to KGPE.

When Aceves heard the woman hurl racist remarks, he said he told the news outlet he “needed to step in.”

“Our diversity is our strength,” read the Instagram post. “It’s a cornerstone of our lives here today, and of my dental practice.”
