LOS ANGELES – Authorities have arrested a woman allegedly caught on camera randomly throwing large bricks at cars – causing major damage – across Southern California.

The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Lisa Jones, is believed to be involved in the series of vandalism crimes that occurred in Los Angeles, Culver City, Burbank, and Santa Monica, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Video posted to the Citizen app appears to show Jones getting out of her car with a brick in her hand. She walks up to a parked car and throws the brick at the windshield. She appears to pick up the brick then walks back to her car and drives off. 

Local police departments including Burbank PD and the LAPD reported incidents allegedly involving Jones throwing bricks at the windshields of random vehicles before driving away. 

Several people came forward claiming to be victims of Jones’ brick-throwing across the aforementioned cities as well as Venice, Mid-Wilshire, Woodland Hills, and Northeast neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

It’s unclear if Jones had any connection with or knew the car owners.

Jones was arrested Wednesday and booked for felony vandalism. She is being held on no bail.
