LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — A Lehigh Acres woman is wanted for hitting a man riding an ATV and then fleeing the scene.

State troopers say this is the first of two hit-and-run accidents that Amber Tremblay, 33, is wanted for. Both of the accidents happened on Sunday, roughly a mile apart from one another.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said that Tremblay hit a 27-year-old Cape Coral man who was riding his ATV on the shoulder of Harvest Avenue near Grafton Street.

Video recorded by another ATV rider moments after shows the chaos that ensued.

“Are you f****** dumb? You could of killed him,” screamed someone in the video.

Unaware of what happened to his friend, Gabriel Perez had just turned the corner when he found the dirtbike totaled on the side of the road.

“I came down this road and then the first thing I saw was the bike, completely totaled,” Perez said. “I was like, ‘Whoa. What the heck.’ I recognized whose bike it was, so I went looking for the person. I keep looking for Bambino and I just seen him thrown in the grass. Bleeding out of his head. His lip was cracked open. He couldn’t move his toes.”

Tremblay is seen on video reaching into the Dodge Challenger she was driving before getting in another vehicle to take off, but not before Perez noticed something.

“Her breath smelled like alcohol in just the one moment she ran past me,” he said.

“She gets out of her vehicle and makes the conscious decision to get into someone else’s vehicle and flee the scene,” said Lt. Greg Bueno with FHP.

According to FHP, Tremblay was in another accident roughly a mile away at the intersection of Bell Boulevard and Meadow Road.

“She at that point exited that vehicle, attempted to get inside a taco truck,” Lt. Bueno said. “She was ousted from the taco truck and she continued to flee on foot. There’s compounding poor decisions that keep getting worse and worse.”

As if the situation couldn’t get any worse, FHP said that Tremblay has a suspended license. This instance is the third time she’s been caught driving on her suspension.

“Now this third time makes it a felony,” Lt. Bueno explained.

That makes it a total of three felony charges she’s now facing. However, she can’t be charged yet because she hasn’t been caught.

That’s where FHP and Bambino’s friends need your help.

“She’s going to pay for what she did to Bambino. She’s going to get caught,” Perez said.

Bambino is out of the hospital and now recovering.

FHP asks anyone who knows Tremblay or has seen her to submit a tip to SWFL CrimeStoppers.

You can submit an anonymous online tip to SWFL Crime Stoppers or call 1-800-780-TIPS.
