The Brandeis San Dieguito Chapter is hosting a Game Day fundraiser for the “Sustaining the Mind Fund” at The Vi in La Jolla on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Sustaining the Mind Fund supports neuroscience research at Brandeis University and endowed scholarships for students in the sciences. Research is the key to finding a cure.
Newcomers are always welcome. It is not necessary to be an alumnus of Brandeis University. Everyone is welcome to come and play their favorite games such as Maj Jongg, bridge, Rummikub, Canasta, scrabble, etc. Bring your friends to play your favorite game or join others at a table. A generous buffet lunch will be served along with coffee and iced tea throughout the day. Valet parking is available, but carpooling is encouraged.
The cost for the event is $45 with a $15.67 taxable deduction. The deadline to register is Oct. 15. Contact [email protected] for more information.
