Attorneys told a judge Friday they are pursuing a pretrial settlement in a dispute over whether Nick Reiner can access his trust fund to pay for his defense.
Nick Reiner faces murder charges in the stabbing deaths of his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Reiner. Mediation is planned for December.
A January grand jury hearing has also been set in the case, according to earlier reporting.
