Naples Agent Darhyl R. Alusma Reports $200 Million in Sales and Prepares to Launch "The 7 Figure Agent"
Darhyl R. Alusma of The Men in Black Luxury Group says he and his team have reported more than $200 million in sales, on and off market, over five years as he prepares to release his first book.

NAPLES, Fla. — Darhyl R. Alusma, a Luxury Real Estate Agent & Advisor and leader of The Men in Black Luxury Group, is preparing to launch his first book, The 7 Figure Agent: The Proven System for Building a High-Income Real Estate Career, after five years in the business in which he and his team report more than $200 million in sales, on and off market.
The Men in Black Luxury Group specializes in luxury residential real estate throughout Naples and Southwest Florida, serving buyers, sellers, investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
A Fast Rise in a Seasoned Market
Alusma, a Naples native, entered real estate during the COVID-19 pandemic after running a personal training business. He says that in a town where many of the top producers have been in the business for 50 years or more, breaking into the ultra-luxury market was difficult, but he did it in his first two years.
Among his milestones, Alusma became the youngest, and the first Haitian/African American, to sell property in Port Royal, a Naples neighborhood once named the wealthiest in America. He sold the award-winning Butterfly House above its $3 million asking price in less than two weeks, and he sold a property for a client who had struggled to sell it for five years.
His largest client to date, at $40 million, came from a door he knocked on in his first year in business. He is currently selling a waterfront Naples property for over $5 million, and he has worked with clients who bought a $19 million home in Port Royal.

Marketing and Network as Strategy
Alusma attributes his results to a mix of local knowledge, innovative digital marketing, social media exposure, luxury branding, creative property storytelling, and a network that extends beyond Southwest Florida. Before entering real estate, he built a following as a Lululemon athlete, and he has since signed on as a Lululemon model and ambassador representing Naples.
"Rather than waiting for buyers to discover a listing, I strategically position properties to attract attention, generate demand, and maximize their potential value," Alusma said.
He describes the core problem he solves as uncertainty: whether clients have the right person protecting their interests. "I replace that uncertainty with confidence, strategy, exceptional service, and a relentless commitment to achieving results," he said.

Faith and Discipline
Alusma describes himself as a God-fearing man who lets faith guide his decisions with integrity, discipline, and purpose. He is building The Men in Black Luxury Group as a team founded on discipline, relentless execution, and personal accountability.
"Keep God first," he said. "Have faith in the vision, but understand that faith without action won't build the life you're praying for."
A Declaration on Empty Streets
Alusma traces his ambition to the pandemic lockdowns, when he and his friends William, Garry, Junior, and John ran through downtown Naples in the early mornings, past waterfront mansions. "One day we'll be here," they told each other. "It wasn't fantasy. It wasn't delusion," Alusma said. "It was declaration."
Coaching and Speaking Ahead
Beyond the book, Alusma plans to coach real estate agents on building a distinctive and lucrative personal brand, and to speak at conferences about the experiences and tactics anyone can use to overcome being an outsider in their line of work.
"Be confident enough to chase opportunities that seem out of your league and disciplined enough to do the work when nobody's watching," he said. "You're going to hear no a thousand times. Who cares? You only need the right yes."
Alusma invites prospective clients to schedule a call. He can be reached at dalusma@johnrwood.com and on Instagram and Facebook.
